Protect your Can-Am Ryker with the Phantom Shield Plug-N-Play Anti-Theft Immobilizer with Remote.

Every time you switch the ignition off, the immobilizer arms itself automatically and blocks the signal to the fuel pump. Without the remote, the bike will not start.

When you're ready to ride, turn the ignition on and press the unlock button on the included remote. The immobilizer disarms and your Ryker starts normally.

If someone tries to ride off while the engine is running, press the lock button from as far as about 200 feet away. The fuel pump signal is cut, and the bike sputters and shuts down.

One remote comes pre-paired to your immobilizer. The receiver is programmable, so you can pair additional remotes—handy if more than one rider shares the bike or if a remote is ever lost. Spare remotes are available separately.

Designed for 2019 and newer Can-Am Ryker models, including the Rally Edition and (from 2022) the Ryker Sport, the system connects plug-and-play for a clean installation.

Normal Operation: Fault Code When Starting While Armed

If the engine is started without first pressing the unlock button on the key fob, the immobilizer will disable the fuel pump and the vehicle will not start. Because fuel delivery is interrupted, the vehicle's computer may display a fuel system fault code. This is normal and expected: it confirms the immobilizer is actively preventing unauthorized starting. It does not indicate a problem with your vehicle or the immobilizer, and the code will clear on its own.
