Bring modern key-less convenience to your Can-Am Spyder F3 or RT. The Phantom Shield Key-less Ignition System lets you start and ride without inserting or removing the factory key every time.

Fits 2015-2023 Can-Am Spyder F3 models and 2018-2023 Can-Am Spyder RT models.

Simply carry one of the included wireless fobs in your pocket, wallet, bag, or riding gear. When you initiate the startup sequence, the system detects the authorized fob so you can start your Spyder and ride—without a key dangling from the ignition.

When the ride is over, shut your Spyder off and walk away. There are no fob buttons to press during normal operation and no reason to remove the fob from your pocket.

Key-less convenience with factory-key backup

The system adds key-less starting without eliminating the usefulness of your factory key. If the wireless fob battery becomes depleted, you can insert your physical key and start your Spyder normally.

You’ll also continue using the factory key to:

• Open the frunk
• Unlatch the seat for refueling
• Lock or unlock the rear trunk
• Start the Spyder as a backup when necessary

It’s the best of both worlds: convenient key-less starting for everyday rides with familiar factory-key functionality when you need it.

Two ultra-thin wireless fobs included

Each system includes two slim, wallet-style wireless fobs designed for comfortable everyday carry. Keep one with you and store the second as a spare.

Because the fobs have no external buttons to press during normal use, they can stay safely inside your pocket, wallet, bag, or riding gear.

Designed for efficient operation

The system searches for an authorized fob only when the startup sequence is initiated. Once the fob is detected, it stops searching to help conserve fob battery life and minimize unnecessary battery draw from your Spyder.

When replacement is needed, open the fob case and install a comparable CR2032 coin-cell battery.

Important key-use information
